y’all ever see a sibling interaction in media and just know….it was written by an only child

It’s weird when sibilings apologize in the movies. Because sibilings only apologize when they did something really really bad, like murder someone or something, otherwise the sibilings just casually start to talk to each other as if nothing had happened.

Siblings in a movie making up: I’m so sorry I hurt you…you’re not only my sister, you’re my best friend.

Siblings in real life making up: Lmao idk if you’re still mad bitch but look at this meme really quick.

OMG everyone I know the ACTUAL story behind the gif this time!

Yes, it’s in Australia– that’s a big angry goanna that wandered into a popular restaurant. All the Australians in the vicinity went OH FUCK NO and cleared off, because goannas are mean.

The waitress you see there is a French exchange student, who was quoted as saying something to the effect of “I thought it was a weird ugly dog” and had no idea it was a reptile that wanted to rip her arms off. She’s been hailed as a hero who saved diners.

It’s amazing what power “not knowing” has.

The thing I especially love about this is this is a pretty dangerous animal, except she managed to defeat it by just fucking grabbing it by the tail and walking too quickly for it to turn around. Once again the animal kingdom is thwarted because we evolved opposable thumbs, long limbs, and reckless bravery.

weird, ugly dog thwarted by foreign exchange student and polished floors

my take-home lesson here is that nobody in france has ever first-hand seen a dog

christian missionaries really will just show up at your door full of bad and stupid opinions you absolutely did not ask for then act hurt when you get short with them because they don’t know when to fuck off

like sirs and ma’ams i hate to break it you but y’all are not martyrs suffering for the greater good. you’re pushy strangers who show up at people’s houses uninvited to tell them about a religion they’re most likely not interested in and you get bonus asshole points for thinking it’s acceptable to preach for homophobic/transphobic organizations on the doorsteps of random lgbt ppl. ppl not being happy to see you isn’t an attack against you it’s you experiencing normal consequences for being rude.

My plan to create a perfectly flat and level Kansas by moving 5,501 cubic miles of earth from west to east. It’s the ideal Kansas. Still some details to work out about rivers, roads, etc. Watch out for the 900-foot cliff bisecting Kansas City.

this is honestly the best post on the entire fucking internet
